Ingredients
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup oil
3 cups flour (start with 2 3/4 cup and add as needed)
dash salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup slivered almonds
 
On cut side of finished mandelbro
cinnamon
sugar

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. Beat eggs and add dash of salt. Add sugar and oil. Add vanilla. Very slowly, add dry ingredients - it becomes very thick and sticky.
Make 3-4 flat rolls ( approx. 1/2 inch thick,2 inches wide and length of pan) Bake in oven for 20 minutes until very, very lightly golden.
Remove from oven and turn oven down to 250. When rolls are barely warm to the touch, slice them in 1/2 inch widths. Make a mixture of sugar and cinnamon (make up your own mixture)(about a cereal bowl's worth)
Sprinkle on cut sides of mandelbrot (both sides) Put on cookie sheet with cut side up. Leave in 250 oven for appox. 1 hour, until it's dried out. (check after 45 minutes)
