Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt together in a bowl.
Stir in beaten egg, yogurt and 2 tablespoons butter. Gradually stir in enough milk to make a soft dough. Knead well. Cover with a damp cloth and place in a warm place for 2 hours.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Knead dough on floured surface for 3 minutes until smooth. Divide into 8 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball then into ovals bout 6 to 8 inches long.
Grease baking sheet with oil. Brush both the sides of the Naan with oil. Sprinkle one side with poppy seeds. Cook seed side up. Bake for 6 to 10 minutes unil puffy and lightly golden brown.
