     Delmonice Potatoes

Ingredients
9 red potatoes, boiled almost done
2 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, diced
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 pint whipping cream, unwhipped
1 cup milk
dash pepper
3 dashed nutmeg
 

Instructions
Cook potatoes until almost done, cool, peel and grate into a 1 1/2-2qt casserole, do not stir. Heat remaining ingredients until cheese melts. Pour over potatoes, do not stir. Bake 323 for 30 min to 1 hour. May be prepared a day before, covered and kept in refrigerator.
