     matthew's jalapeno popper mac and cheese

Ingredients
2 boxes kraft macaroni and cheese (blue box)
2 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese
1 cup mayonnaise {optional)
1 1/2 cup milk
2 (4 oz) cans diced green chilies
1 medium pablano pepper, finely chopped (use a hotter chile if you like!)
1 cup shredded cheese (i used mexican blend) (optional)
bread crumbs
 

Instructions
cook macaroni per instructions.
mix together cream cheese, mayonnaise, cheese pack from kraft box, milk (add slowly), chilies (green and pablano), and shredded cheese.
drain macaroni and mix with cheese mixture. pour into greased casserole dish. top with bread crumbs. bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes until bubbly.

Serving Suggestions
can substitute a can of rotel tomatoes for the green chilies. bread crumbs improve presentation!
