     Italian Meat Loaf

Ingredients
1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 cup milk
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
2 tsp chopped fresh basil
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground mustard
1/4 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1 egg
 
3/4 cup plain dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup chopped red or green pepper (I used roasted red peppers from a jar)
1/4 cup ketchup or chili sauce (I used chili sauce)

Instructions
Heat oven to 350. Mix all ingredients except ketchup/chili sauce.
Spread mixture in ungreased 9x5 loaf pan. Spread ketchup or chili sauce over the top.
Bake uncovered 1 to 1 1/4 hours or until beef is no longer pink in the center and thermometer reads at least 160 degrees. Let stand 5 minutes before removing from pan.
