     Pasta Sauce

Ingredients
2 cloves garlic
1 pkg sliced mushrooms
1 onion
3 celery stalks, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
3 tbs dried parsley
3 tsp salt, 2 1/4 tsp dried basil, 3/4 tsp dried oregano, 1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper, 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper, 1 bay leaf, pinch black pepper
24 oz canned tomatoes
 
12 oz tomato paste
24 oz tomato sauce
1 pound ground turkey
1 pound sweet Italian turkey sausage
2 pounds pasta

Instructions
Brousn sausage in fry pan and cut into bite sized pieces and put into large pot. Brown ground turkey in same fry pan and remove to pot. Add all remaining ingredients (except pasta) and simmer for 2-4 hours. Even better if made a day ahead.
Serve over 2 pounds of pasta or less. Can freeze remaining sauce.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with garlic bread and top with Parmesan cheese.
