     Lemon sauce for vegetables

Ingredients
2 T butter or margarine
1 T flour
1 t lemon zest
1/2 cup milk
1 T lemon juice
1/4 t grated ginger (optional)
 

Instructions
Microwave butter on high 30 seconds.
Stir in flour stirring until smooth.
Gradually add milk. Microwave uncovered on high 2 to 3 minutes until thickened.
Stir in lemon juice, zest, and ginger. Spoon over vegetables.
Serving Suggestions
Great on asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, etc.
