     Chicken Marsala

Ingredients
1 lb chicken breasts, halved, pounded thin
1/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
3 tbsp promise butter spread
1 small onion, chopped
1 10 oz package sliced mushrooms
1/3 cup marsala wine or brandy
 
1 cup chicken broth
1/8 tsp dried thyme

Instructions
Coat chicken halves in flour mixture. Melt 2 tbsp promise spread over medium heat and cook chicken breasts. Turn once during cooking...about 10 minutes total. Set aside.
Melt 1 tbsp promise in same skillet and add onion...cook for 2 minutes. Add mushrooms..cook another 2 minutes. Sprinkle with 1-2 tbsp flour and cook another minute. Add marsala or brandy and cook additional minute.
Add broth and thyme and bring to a boil. Let boil 2 minutes or until sauce is thick...you may need to add a little more flour.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with rice, noodles, or cous cous.
