     Kourambiedes-Variation

Ingredients
1 cup soft butter
1/4 c. confec. sugar
1 egg yolk
1/2 c. blanched almonds, finely ground
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. clove
2 Tbsp. brandy or ouzo
2. c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
 

Instructions
Cream butter. Add sugar and egg yolk. Beat until creamy. Add brandy or ouzo.
Blend in dry ingredients & almonds. Form dough.
Bake 350 deg. about 25 min.
