Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Cream butter, add sifted sugar, beat in eggs, one at a time.
Combine bananas, vanilla and buttermilk.
Buttermilk - a little less than 1 tsp vinager and fill it up milk.
Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture, alterning with banana mixture. Stir till smooth. Add chocolate chips.
Bake in greased pan for 30 minutes. If adding more bananas, cook longer at a lower temperature.
