     Gerri's Swiss Steak

Ingredients
1 pkg onion soup mix
8 oz. can tomato sauce
2 lb. round steak
flour
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. diced celery
1 c. thinly sliced carrots
salt and pepper to taste
1 T. oil
 
Instructions
Prepare onion soup mix as package directions. Cool and add tomato sauce.
Cover round steak with flour and brown in oil and put in baking dish. Add onions, carrots and celery on top.
Pour sauce over all and bake at 350 for 2 hours. Add water if needed.
