     Tomato-Broiled Lamb Steaks

Ingredients
2 T. tomato paste
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 T vinegar
1 T salad oil
1/2 t oregano
1/2 t. salt
4 lamb steaks about 3/4 inch thick (shoulder or round)
 

Instructions
Combine first six ingredients and mix well. May sprinkle steaks with meat tenderizer for extra tenderness.
Broil lamb steaks 3-4 inches from source of heat for 8 min.
Turn and spread with tomato mixture. Broil 7 min. more or until done.
