     Kraut Salad

Ingredients
2 cans Brisk Shredded Sour Kraut
2 Green Peppers (chopped)
4 stalks Celery (chopped)
1 1/2 cups Sugar
1 cup Oil
1 jar (4 oz) Pimento (chopped)
3 medium Carrots (finely grated)
1 large Onion (chopped)
1 cup Vinegar
 
1/4 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions
Rinse kraut in cold water and drain; press out excess water. Put all vegetables in a large mixing bowl.
In a sauce pan, bring to a boil sugar, pepper, oil and vinegar. Boil 4-5 minutes. Pour over vegetables and mix well. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Serving Suggestions
Serve cold. Keeps up to 2 weeks in refrigerator.
