Ingredients
2 1/2 cups Flour
3/4 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Ginger
2 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Cloves
1/2 cup Margarine
1/2 cup Sugar
 
1 cup Molasses
1 egg, unbeaten
1 cup Boiling Water

Instructions
Sift together first Seven ingredients. In a separate bowl, cream together margarine and sugar. Add molasses and mix well. Stir in 1/2 cup of the sifted dry ingredients. Beat in egg. Add remaining dry ingredients alternately with hot water.
Pour batter into well greased and lightly floured 8x10 inch pan. Bake at 350deg for 45 to 50 min.
