Combine eggs & orange juice- beat well w/ a whisk. Quickly dip each slice of raisin bread into egg mixture, and coat bread on all sides w/ vanilla wafer crumbs.
Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet. arrange 3 or 4 slices bread in a single layer in skillet, and cook over medium heat 1 to 2 minutes on each side or until browned. Repeat w/ remaining bread slices, adding more butter as needed.
