     BEEF STEW SOUP

Ingredients
1 pound sirloin steak cubed
2 TBSP shortening
32 ounces french onion soup
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 bay leaf
1/8 tsp thyme
1 can tomato juice
3 oz small baby salad carrots
3 oz small baby salad carrots
 
1 green pepper chopped
1/2 cup elbow macaroni

Instructions
Brown steak in the shortening. Add onion soup garlic bay leaf and thyme. Cover and cook on low for 30 - 45 minutes. Add green pepper and macaroni and cook for another 30 minutes or until meat and veggies are tender.
