1 c. hot water
|
|
1/2 c. shortening
|
|
1/2 c. sugar
|
|
3 eggs, beaten
|
|
2 pkg. yeast
|
|
1/4 c. warm water - 1 T. sugar
|

4 1/2 c. flour
|
|
1 1/2 t. salt
|
|
1/4 c. melted butter
|
|

Instructions |

|
Combine hot water, shortening, and sugar. Add eggs and yeast. Put salt in flour and add to make dough.

Cover and let rise 1 hour. Stir down, cover, and refrigerate up to 24 hours. Remove from fridge 3 hours before molding.

|
Pinch off pieces of dough and roll into 1 inch balls. Dip in melted butter and put 3 balls into each section of muffin tin. cover and let rise.
|
|
|
Bake at 400 for 10-12 minutes, until lightly browned.
