Sauté the onions and cool. Blend them with the cheese. Combine the egg and milk with the biscuit mix. Add half of onion and cheese mixture. Spread the dough into a greased 8 inch pan. Top with the rest of cheese and onion mixture. Sprinkle poppy seeds on the top and drizzle with the melted butter. Bake at 440 for about 20 to 25 minutes.
