1 cup white sugar

1 cup brown sugar

4 eggs

2 cups mashed bananas (4)

2 tsp soda

2 tsp salt

1 cup sour milk

1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions |

Cream shortening, sugars together; add eggs
|

Sift dry ingredients, mix in alternating with milk. To sour milk add 1 1/2 tsp vinegar to milk leave sit a few minutes before mixing in. Stir in nuts.

Spray two loaf pans, bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes. Top will crack. Cool. Slice and serve
