     FOOPROOF PIE CRUST

Ingredients
4 cups flour
1 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp salt
1 3/4 cup shortening
1 egg
1/2 cup cold water
1 Tbsp cider vinegar
 

Instructions
Combine flour, sugar and salt. Cut in shortening until crumbly. Whisk eff, water and vinegar. Gradually add to flour mixture. Tossing with a fork until dough forms a ball. Divide into 4 portions. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. On a lightly floured surface, roll out each portions of dough to fit a 9 inch pan. Transfer to pie plates. Trim pastry to 1/2 inch peyod edge of plate. Flute edges. Fill or bake according to recipe directions.
