Heat butter, brown sugar, honey and cayenne pepper in saucepan on medium heat, stirring until mixture boils. Reduce heat to medium-low and boil without stirring for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Pour hot syrup over cereal and stir well to coat.
Place mixture in large greased roasting pan. Bake for 1 hour at 250F, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool and store in airtight container.
