Brown the ground beef or turkey; rinse and drain if necessary. Add the can of tomato sauce plus almost one can full of water. Stir over medium-low heat for a few minutes.

Mix the cottage cheese, parsley and egg together.

Place some sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Add 3 UNCOOKED lasagna noodles on top. Layer the cottage cheese mixture, the tomato sauce mixture, and more lasagna noodles.

Top with mozzarella cheese. Baked, covered, for 45 minutes at 350F. Remove the foil, sprinkle some extra cheese on top, and bake another 15 minutes until bubbly. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before cutting to serve.
