Ingredients
1 PACKAGE (16 OZ) FROZEN CRABMEAT-THAWED, DRAINED AND CARTILAGE REMOVED-CHOPPED
2 PACKAGES (3 OZ EACH) CREAM CHEESE-SOFTENED
½ TSP SALT
¼ TSP GARLIC POWDER
40 WONTON SKINS
1 EGG-SLIGHTLY BEATEN
VEGETABLE OIL
 

Instructions
MIX CHOPPED CRABMEAT, CREAM CHEESE, SALT AND GARLIC POWDER. BRUSH WONTON SKIN WITH EGG. PLACE HEAPING TSP FULL OF CRAB MIXTURE ON WONTON SKIN-PLACE ANOTHER SKIN OVER. PUT EGG MIXTURE ON EACH SIDE AND PLEAT TO SEAL. HEAT VEG OIL IN WOK TO 350 DEGREES. FRY 4-5 PUFFS AT A TIME UNTIL GOLDEN BRON-TURNING 2-3 TIMES-ABOUT 2 MINUTES. DRAIN ON PAPER TOWEL. MAY FREEZE AND BAKE FOR 10 MINS IN 400 DEGREE OVEN WITHIN 6 WEEKS.
