IN large skillet, brown chicken in oil and 2 tbsp butter. Sprinkle with sald and pepper. Cover and cook until tender.

In sauce pan, melt 3 tbsp butte, add onions and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly until soft. Mix in flour and cook for another minute. Remove from heat and gradually add half-n-half. Return to heat and bring to a boil. Sitr constantly.

Stir in mustard, 1/2 tsp salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and add 1/2 the cheese. Put chicken in baking dish, spoon sauce over.

Mix bread crumbs and rest of cheese and sprinke over chicken. Sprinkle 4 tbsp of pan drippings over crumbs (or drizzle melted butter on top). Broil for 4-5 minutes.
