In saucepan, bring all ingredients to a boil, then lower heat and simmer. This recipe comes from Better Homes and Gardens-I use this as a template and then alter the amounts to taste. I usually put a tbsp or so of yellow mustard in the sauce as well
If I don't have tomato sauce, I use ketchup and alter the rest of the ingredients to taste. Also, it can be made into honey BBQ with a few tbsp of honey or a great start for BBQ baked beans by adding bacon and more mustard.
This sauce is great for pulled pork or chicken, beef barbeque, etc.
