     Easy Fruit Cobbler

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup milk
2 cups of desired fruit (apples, peaches, pears or cherries)
3/4 cup sugar (for topping)
 

Instructions
Melt butter in 350 degree oven in 9x13 baking dish while mixing other ingredients.
Blend all other ingredients EXCEPT fruit and 3/4 cup sugar.
Pour blended batter over melted butter and smooth.
Add fruit, dropping gently into batter and top with 3/4 cup sugar. With peaches add cinnamon or cloves. Bake at 350 degrees until top is golden brown.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with french vanilla ice cream for a real treat!
