Ingredients
500ml (2cups) cake flour
20 ml (4t) baking powder
2,5 ml (1/2t) salt
25 ml (2tbs) sugar
25 – 50 ml butter (2-4 tbsp)
200 ml milk
 

Instructions
Sift dry ingredients together. Add butter. Mix into the dry ingredients with the tips of your fingers till dough has a crumbled appearance. Add milk. Do not mix with your hands or spoon, but use a knife in each hand and cut into the dough till mixed. Do not handle the dough unnecessarily. Press dough lightly together and roll out on a flat surface that is lightly sprinkle with flour until it is approximately 2 cm high. Use a cookie cutter or glass and press out round scones. Place on a greased baking plate and bake for 10-12 minute.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with butter/jam/marmelade/cheese/cream.
