     Bruschetta with Fontina & Asparagus

Ingredients
1 loaf french bread,cut into 1/4" slices
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 tbsp olive oil
coarse salt
1 1/2 bunches asparagus
8 oz. fontina or monterey jack cheese
2 oz. parmesan cheese
truffle oil (optional)
 

Instructions
Grill or broil bread slices until golden on both sides--rub one side with garlic and brush with oil.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bring water to a boil-add salt generously-add asparagus-cook until tender(about 3 min)-Drain and set aside.
Place bread on baking sheet & sprinkle each slice with cheese. Arrange 3-4 asparagus spears on top and sprinkle with parmesan.
Bake until cheese melted--about 10 minutes. Drizzle with truffle oil if desired.
