     GiGi's Homemade Candy

Ingredients
2 cups of sugar
1 can of evaporated cream
1 stick of margarine
1 cup of pecans
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 cup of coconut (optional)
 

Instructions
Put sugar, cream, vanilla and margarine in a sauce pan, and bring to a boil.
Let cook for about 30 minutes with continuous stirring. Test candy in a cup of cold water. If it forms a ball and drops to the bottom of the cup then the candy is ready.
Spread candy on a butter cookie sheet and cut individual pieces. Let cool.
