     Grilled Lime Flank w/ Chipotle Honey Sauce

Ingredients
2 1/2 lbs flank steak
2 dry chipotle, chopped fine (marinade)
1 T chopped cilantro (marinade)
2 garlic cloves minced (marinade)
4 T canola oil (marinade)
10 Tbsp lime juice, about 5 limes (marinade)
3 Tbsp ketchup (marinade)
1/2 tsp liquid smoke (marinade)
1/3 cup honey (sauce)
 
2 Tbsp canola oil (sauce)
4 - 6 chipotle, chopped fine (sauce)
2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar (sauce)
3 garlic cloves, minced (sauce)
8 Tbsp lime juice, about 4 limes (sauce)
3 Tbsp brown mustard (sauce)
1 tsp cumin (sauce)
1 tsp salt - salt and pepper, to taste (sauce)
3 pbso ketchup and 1 tsp liquid smoke (sauce)

Instructions
Place steak in large glass baking dish. Mix all the marinade ingredients together and pour marinade over steak. Marinate in refrigerator for 4 - 6 hours. DO NOT MARINATE FOR OVER 6 HOURS!
Mix sauce ingredients together after you make marinade and refrigerate. Serve at room temperature. Full recipe makes a lot of sauce...for a small group cut recipe in half.
Grill steak for 5 -7 minutes per side at highest heat slice against the grain thinly and at an angle.
