4 large onions, chopped
|

2 pkgs linguica
|

4-5 potatoes, peeled & diced
|

2 cans red kidney beans, rinsed & drained
|

2 pkgs frozen kale or 2 bunches of fresh, rinsed well

and thick stems removed
|
|
BBQ sauce to taste
|
|
|

Instructions |
|
|
Saute onion in butter along with chopped linguica
|
|
|
Throw potatoes in with the onions & linguica. Cover with water, bring to a boil & boil for 10 minutes
|
|
|
Add beans & kale and simmer for 30 minutes
|
|
|
Add BBQ sauce to taste. Can also smush some of the beans against the side of the pot for a thicker broth.
