     Butterscotch Brownies

Ingredients
1/4 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
 

Instructions
Melt 1/4 cup butter. Add 1 cup brown sugar and dissolve. Beat in 1 egg and 1 tsp vanilla. Sift together 1/2 cup flour, 1 tsp baking powder and 1/2 tsp salt. Stir into butter mixture. Add 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts. Pour into 8x8 floured pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
