     Thelma's Dumplings

Ingredients
7 c. white lily rising flour
8 tbsp. crisco or wesson oil
 

Instructions
Mix with ice water and make up dough as for biscut dough. Roll out thim on a floured surface. Cut in long strips with a pizza cutter and place on wax paper on cookie sheet and freeze.
Cook two fryers, until tender and take off bone.
When you start to drop in your dumplings, drop 2-3 drops of yellow food color. Make sure your shicken stock is boiling when you drop in your dumplings. Do not stir other than to keep the dumplings from sticking to the bottowm of the pan. Put chicken back in pot and simmer for 20 min.
