     Soft Sugar Cookies

Ingredients
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
1 Cup (2 Sticks) Margarine
3 Eggs
4 Cups Flour
1 Cup Buttermilk
2Teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
 
1 Teaspoon Salt

Instructions
Cream 1 Cup Brown Sugar, 1 3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar, 1 (2 sticks) Cup Margarine, and 3 eggs. Add 2 Cups Flour and mix together. Then add 1 Cup Buttermilk, 2 Cups of Flour, and the remaining ingrediants. Drop by heaping teaspoon fulls onto the cookie sheet. Sprinkle with Granulated Sugar.
Bake at 350-375 on the bottom rack until the cookies rise, then move the sheet to the middle rack until the edges of the cookies brown.

Makes 4-5 Dozens
