     Pecan Pie

Ingredients
2 eggs
1 cup Karo corn syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup pecans
frozen pie crust
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Meanwhile, defrost the pie crust.
Beat the eggs. Stir in corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt. Mix well.
Line the bottom of the pie crust with pecans. Pour mixture over the pecans, which will rise to the top. Add a few more pecans so they form a top layer.
Bake for 40 to 50 minutes. About halfway through, wrap aluminum foil around the edges of the crust so that it won't burn.
