     Haitian Rice Pudding

Ingredients
1 Cup White Rice
1 Can Evaporated Milk
8 Cups water
1/2 Cup Sugar
2 Cinnamon Sticks
1/4 Teaspoon Lemon Zest
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
 

Instructions
Cook the rice with the water and cinnamon sticks. WHen the rice is completely cooked, add sugar, lemon zest, vanilla extract and evaporated milk. Allow to cook for 20 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
