     Fruit Crunch

Ingredients
1 cup flour
3/4 cup oat meal
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/4 tsp cinn
dash salt
1/2 cup melted butter
3 cups berries or apples
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
 
1 T corn starch
1 cup water

Instructions
Mix first six ingredients together and pat 2/3 of mixture into bottom of 8x8 pan, reserving remaining 1/3 for topping. Prepare 3 cups of fruit.
For thickning, mix remaining four ingredients in sauce pan. Bring to a boil, stirring often until thickened. Remove from heat. Stir fruit into thickening till coated. Pour onto crust. Top with remaining crumb topping. Bake 45 min at 350.
