     Flower of a Pie

Ingredients
1 pkg Lemon Jello
1/4 c marichino cherries chopped
1 fresh lemon or 1 tsp of juice
1 can of crushed pineapple
1 - 9 inch pie shell baked
1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
1/2 c sugar
 

Instructions
Chill large size evaporated milk for 24 hours. Chill beaters and metal mixing bowls for about 1/2 hour.
Bring to boil 1/4 c cherry juice, 3/4 c pineapple juice. Add 1/2 c sugar and lemon jello. Set aside to cool.
Add 1/4 c chopped cherries and drained 3/4 cup of crushed pineapple to jello mix. Put in refrigerator to set.
Take 1 can of chilled evaporated mile and juice of 1/2 lemon. Beat with electric beater (like whip cream, should get thick). It will take a while to beat, it will not be as heavy as whipped cream. Then fold it into the jello mixture that has become slightly thickened. Pour into Pie shell. Refrigerate to set.
