3/4 soft margarine
1 c brown sugar, packed
1 unbeaten egg
1/4 c. molasses
2 c flour
2 t soda
1 t ginger
1 t cinnamon
2 t cloves

Heat first three ingredients, add the rest.
Chill dough. Shape in 1 in bals and roll in granulated sugar.
Bake at 350 for 10-12 min
