     Carrot Cake

2 c sifted flour
2 t cinnaomon
2 t baking powder
2 c sugar
1 1/2 t baking soda
1 1/2 c salad oil
1 1/2 t salt
4 eggs
2 c finely grated carrots
1 (8.5 oz) can crushed drained pineapple
1/2 c nuts
1/2 c. butter
1 pkg cream cheese
1 t vanilla
1 lb confectioners sugar

Stir together dry ingred, add sugars, oil, eggs. Mix well.
Add carrots, pineapple, nuts. Blend thoroughly. pour into greased and floured pan. Bake at 350, 35-40 min (longer for 9x13)
Frosting- combine butter, cheese and vanilla. Cream well. Add sugar gradually beating well. If too thick, add a little milk.
