     Chocolate Chess Pie

Ingredients
1 9" pastry for 9" single crust pie
1 1/2 c white sugar
3 1/2 tbsp cocoa
1/2 c butter, melted
5oz can evaporated milk
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 c chopped pecans
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C)
Mix together sugar, cocoa, and melted butter. Stir in evaporated milk, beaten eggs, vanilla, and chopped pecans.
Pour nut mixture into unbaked pie shell. Bake for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and bake for 30 minutes.
