     Swiss Salad

Ingredients
Head of Lettuce
½ Red Onion, chopped
½ lb Bacon, cooked and chopped
1 Cup Peas
1 Cup Swiss Cheese, shredded
1 Cup Mayonnaise
1 Tbs Sugar
 

Instructions
Shred lettuce. Thaw peas in water. Add peas, onion, bacon, and Swiss cheese to lettuce. Mix mayonnaise and sugar. Add to salad just before serving.
Note- You can cook bacon in the oven. Line a jelly roll with foil. Cook at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Bacon will continue cooking out of the oven if it is still in the pan.
