     Turkey Chili

Ingredients
1 tbs olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 to 1½ lb ground turkey , preferably dark (maybe more)
2 tbs tomato paste
1 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp chili powder
1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes
1¼ tsp salt
 
1/4 cup sour cream and cilantro (optional)
1/2 cup water
1/4 tsp pepper

Instructions
Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium high heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, 4 to 6 min.
Add turkey and cook, breaking up with a spoon, until no longer pink, 3 to 5 min. Stir in the tomato paste, cumin, and chili pepper and cook, stirring for 1 min.
Add tomatos (with their juices), 1/2 cup water, salt, pepper, and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened, 12 to 15 min.
Or crock pot it.
Serving Suggestions
Serve topped with sour cream and cilantro
