     Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients
1 9inch pie shell
1/2 lb bacon, fried and cut up
12 slices swiss cheese, cut up
4 eggs
1 T flour
1/2 t salt
1/8 t cayenne pepper
1/8 t nutmeg
1 pint half and half
 
1 1/2 T butter

Instructions
Lightly bake shell. When cool, line pie shell with fried bacon and cheese. Make a custard of beaten eggs, flour, salt, cayenne pepper, nutmeg, cream and melted butter. Pour custard over bacon and cheese and bake in 375 oven for 45 min or until crust has set and is nicely brown.
