4 c fresh blueberries, or 16 oz bag frozen, divided
1/2 c granulated sugar
1/2 c packed brown sugar
2 1/2 T ap flour
1 T butter
1 T lemon juice
1/2 t cinnamon
1/2 t nutmeg
1/4 t salt
8 inch pie crust, baked
1 c heavy cream
1 t vanilla
Instructions
Combine 2 cups blueberries and next 8 ingredients in a saucepan. Cook and sir over low heat until mixture comes to a boil.
Simmer 10 minutes or until thickened. Cool. Stir in remaining 2 cups blueberries. Pour into pie crust and chill. When ready to serve, whip cream. Mix in vanilla and spread over pie.
