     Mississippi Spice Muffins

Ingredients
1 cup (room temperature) butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
16 oz. applesauce
1 Tablespoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons allspice
1 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
 
4 cups flour (2 of the cups can be whole wheat flour)

Instructions
Cream together butter/margarine and sugar in large bowl.
Add remaining ingredients to large bowl with butter/margarine and sugar mixture. Mix all by hand until well-incorporated.
Store- Stores well in refrigerator for up to 1 month, can bake as many/few as needed. If batter is cold, will take longer to bake (30 minutes).
Bake- Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes. Muffins are done when toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
