     Crock Pot Lasagna

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves minced garlic
(29 oz) can tomato sauce
(6 oz) can tomato paste
1 C water
1 t dried oregano
(8 oz) pkg lasagna noodles, uncooked
4 C grated Mozzarella cheese
 
1 1/2 C cottage cheese
1/2 C parmesan cheese
1 t salt

Instructions
Cook beef, onion and garlic in saucepan until beef is browned. Drain. Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, salt and oregano. In separate bowl, combine cottage cheese, mozzarella and parmesan cheeses. Spread half of meat sauce on bottom of crock pot; arrange half of noodles over meat sauce. Sprinkle half of cheeses on top of noodles. Repeat layers. Cook on low 4-5 hours
Healthy options- Substitute ground turkey, low-sodium sauce and paste, whole wheat noodles and reduced-fat cheeses.
