     Postively Perfect Sugar Cookie

Ingredients
1 cup white sugar
1 cup salted butter, softened
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg Separated
all-purpose flour2 cups
 

Instructions
Combine sugar, butter and cream cheese. Mix. Add remaining ingredients except the egg white. Mix until just holding together. Chill for 2 hours. Roll out on a floured surface about 1/8-1/4 inch thick. Cut into shapes. Add ½ teaspoon of water to egg white and beat. Using a pastry brush, brush tops of cut cookies and lightly sprinkle with granulated sugar.
Bake at 375 for 7-10 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE!
Let cool completely and frost with buttercream
