     Cornmeal mush with Molasses

Ingredients
3 cups water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup yellow Cornmeal
1 cup cold water
Molasses,as needed
light cream,as needed
 

Instructions
Put the 3 cups water and the salt into a saucepan.Bring to a boil.
Mix the cornmeal with 1 cup cold water in a small bowl.Add to the boiling water.Bring to a boil again,stirring constantly with a wooden spoon.
reduce heat to low and cook for 15 minutes.Stir often to get rid of lumps and to prevent the mush from sticking to the pan.
Pour into cereal bowls.Serve with Molasses and cream.
