Have eggs and butter at room temperature.
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time and beat after each.
Add flour gradually, add salt, beat.
Add vanilla, beat well.
Use baking spray in a tube pan.
Bake at 325 degrees for 70 minutes.
